Job description

A leading independent school on the Herts borders require a Director of Technology and Innovation & Head of Computer Science from January, 2025. This is a permanent position that will involve managing the technological requirements of the school, determining necessary professional development, training staff, and managing the Computer Science deparrtment as well as teaching the subject throughout the school. Assistance with accommodation is available.

 Essential: A strong background leading staff in a similar role in an educational environment and teaching Computer Science to a minimum of GCSE level.

 Desired: A postgraduate degree or additional IT certifications, and experience managing budgets would be a bonus; however, this is certainly not essential.
