Job description

A top independent school on the Hertfordshire borders require a KS4 Chemistry & Physics teacher from September, 2024. This is a permanent position, which can be full-time or part-time, and would entail teaching Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Chemistry and/or Physics, or applications from strong ECTs or postgraduates would also be warmly received. Full support would be provided for the ECT Induction.

Desired: The ability to offer Chemistry and/or Physics at A level, and experience in the independent sector would be a bonus; however, this is certainly not essential.

A passion for all subjects is encouraged in a holistic approach that is supported by outstanding pastoral care and strong academics. Personal and collective responsibility is encouraged through diverse extracurricular activities and programmes. Inherent in the school's mission is teaching students values such as: humility, honesty, persistence, service, and excellence.
