KS4 Physics & Chemistry Teacher

Job description

A leading independent School on the Northants borders require a KS4 Chemistry & Physics teacher from January, 2025; however, an earlier start would also be considered. This is a permanent position, which can be full-time or part-time, and would entail teaching Chemistry and Physics primarily at GCSE level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Chemistry and/or Physics, or applications from strong ECTs or postgraduates would also be warmly received. Full support would be provided for the ECT Induction.

Desired: The ability to offer Chemistry and/or Physics at A level, and experience in the independent sector would be a bonus; however, this is certainly not essential.

The atmosphere of the school is warm and friendly, with state-of-the art facilities available. A passion for all subjects is encouraged in a holistic approach that is supported by outstanding pastoral care and strong academics. Diverse extracurricular activities foster friendships, teamwork, and personal and collective responsibility. Inherent in the school's mission is teaching students values such as humility, honesty, persistence, service, and excellence.
